An Easter Message from Pastor Craig

April 13, 2017

You’ve invited your community. You’ve planned the message. The chairs are all in neat rows.

Soon, you’ll be unlocking the front doors for one of the biggest weekends of the year.

But before you get swept up in the energy and excitement of Easter services, remember this: you’ve been called and equipped by God just for this.

In Deuteronomy 31:7-8, Moses charges Joshua: “Be strong and courageous…The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

In that same spirit, pastors and leaders, do not be afraid.

Don’t be nervous about your message, your kids’ rooms, or your parking lot.

Never believe the voices of doubt that you hear. Never believe the lies of Satan that you’re not good enough, smart enough, or ready enough.

You are prayed-up, you’re planned out, and God Himself will go before you to reach people in your community.

Our God is more than able to use your energy, your willingness, and your talents and miraculously expand them to reach your community.

And, that’s exactly what He will do this weekend!

So, leaders, be bold this Easter and know that every bit of prep and planning is worth it because of the changed lives you’ll see this weekend!

We’re honored to partner with you this Easter and every day as together we lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
