Don’t let them forget you.
In the U.S., students are out of school for the summer. If your youth ministry is taking a break, you still have opportunities to creatively connect with and engage your students and their families.
Digital Space
Students spend a lot of time on their phones and social media—leverage the technology available to us today to meet them where they already are: online. Learn ways to connect with students in the digital space.
Physical Space
If you’re able to meet in person, Vince Parker on the Life.Church Switch teamshares six ways to reach youth students. Try hosting a City Groups so students can meet together in their homes or coffee shops if they don’t live near your church.
Parental Space
Use “12 Huge Mistakes Parents Can Avoid,” a four-part video study, to help parents learn how to take the right steps to lead their children to be fully devoted followers of Christ. This study unpacks common mistakes parents can make and will teach parents how to avoid them.
Get creative, have fun, and head to Open Network to find new youth resources to help you stay connected with your students while you aren’t meeting physically.
FOMO is real, so don’t take chances.
